Department of “General educational disciplines department” (herein after “GEDD”) was founded in 2000. The main activity of the department is to intensify the educational process, the implementation of high-level training, research and methodological work, as well as improving the quality of teaching as in the disciplines of general education cycle: socio-humanitarian and natural sciences and the disciplines of the specialty “Information Systems”. In addition, the aim and objective of the department is to develop in students a civic stand, ability to work and live in the modern world.
Department “GEDD” is a structural division of Almaty Management University and carries out training activities in the Kazakh, Russian and English languages.
The number of the department: the total number of faculty structure- 20 people, including full-time teaching staff - 3 people, part-time staff (internal) -4 people.
