Almaty 1000th anniversary
1000th anniversary of the "Apple town" was included in the calendar of memorable dates of UNESCO on the jubilee 38th session in Paris, which was attended by the President of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev.
Among the events dedicated to the round date and supported AlmaU, - I International festival of students "Almaty-Art», which was held 5-8 September 2016 at the Central State Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of the competition under the title "
Дәстүрлі ұлттық өнерді жаңғырту" organized competition categories: exhibition, workshops, fashion shows. Chairman of the jury of the festival was Associate Professor AlmaU Nailya Takizhbaeva. The event was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan, the city Department of education, research and international relations, the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and Almaty College of Decorative and Applied Arts. The festival was also organized by the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Almaty and its contribution to the development of Kazakhstan and the World", which was attended by teachers and our university. The great interest of participants was caused by reports, which were made by scientists from AlmaU: Doctor of History, Professor Aizhan Kapaeva, Ph.D., associate professor of Nailya Takizhbaeva Art.
