In May 27, 2016, Almaty Management University hosted Final event devoted to the completion of the “Service Learning” educational subject in the current academic year, with the participation of NGOs leaders, representatives of organizations dealing with children with disorders of the musculoskeletal system and other guests of the University.
In September 2016, the first time in the practice of Kazakhstani universities Almaty Management University introduced – “Service Learning”, thr new discipline curriculum for undergraduate students, which aims to teach students to see and solve social problems, to gain experience of voluntary work for the benefit of others.
The introduction of this policy by the AlmaU President Kozhakhmetov responds University policies aimed at training qualified business areas, deeply aware of their civic responsibility to society.
On this auspicious day, the students presented their social projects implemented during the academic year, shared their impressions received from the noble mission of public service.
