Therefore, at the present stage preparing specialists for hotel and restaurant business becomes topical issue, increasing demand for professional specialists who are able to adapt quickly to the environment and ready for practical activities, to define the most prospective and flexible solutions and able to predict demand.

The fifth subject at UNT is Geography.
Majors - Geography (at least 7 points in the UNT/KTA).

Manager of restaurant and hotel business
• knows foreign languages, economic planning and organization of restaurant and hotel business
• knows the basic techniques of restaurant business, culture of restaurant and hotel service
• knows how to select staff
• able to control the service process, technological and technical preparation of production to maintenance
• takes orders, organizes and conducts banquets, fourchettes, receptions, controls technical supply
• organizes promotional activities of the restaurant and the hotel
• conducts training for staff on service and ethics of business communication
• resolves conflict situations (among staff, between staff and clients)
• manages, organizes and evaluates the work of subordinates (head waiter, chef, cooks, waiters).
