Restaurants business: Yesterday and Today
The topic of debate was determined by the students themselves, because the introduction to the content and prospects of their chosen profession, familiarity with the lecture material and case studies have revealed not just some interest in a future profession, but also a number of issues:
1. When were first restaurants opened?
2. Where is prepared a specialty of restaurateur?
3. Good and bad sides of this profession.
4. Why are an increasing number of restaurants in Kazakhstan and other countries?
5. About what evidenced by the biographies of famous restaurateurs?
In the debate, students showed good knowledge. They showed hospitality, the high level of Russian language skills, the ability to freely and openly discuss current problems, which is necessary for the development of the students' professional and civic positions.
