  • New trends in research of the chair: "Integration of natural, technical and humanitarian knowledge in the formation of educational trajectories of skills and competence of students of IT-specialties"

What kind of specialist should a new specialist in the field of IT technologies be, what fundamental and professional knowledge should he possess, what personal qualities, skills and abilities should he have? The skills necessary for our students in the twenty-first century are: ability to think critically, ability of interaction and communication, a creative approach and curiosity as a quality of human nature. There is precedent work on this topic by Professor Patrick Griffin, University of Melbourne, who runs the largest scientific project of international level evaluation and teaching skills and competencies of the XXI century (ATC21S). In the framework of this research, a student model of IT profession, educational path and educational programs for implementation of this model and prototyping it in educational institutions of Kazakhstan should be developed.
