     In order to expand and revitalize the language environment at the University, from 14 to 18 March 2016 it was held a week devoted to the 1000th anniversary of the city of Almaty on March 14 14.10 hours the meeting of 1 st year students Russian researcher with the department of Almaty city history, a leading researcher of the Institute of Archaeology A. The celebration of the 1000th anniversary of the city of Almaty was officially included in the calendar of commemorative and memorable dates of UNESCO in 2016. Akimat planned 74 events dedicated to the 1000th anniversary of Almaty.
